The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is a worldwide standard for the processing of textiles from organically produced natural fibers. It defines environmental requirements along the entire textile production chain as well as social criteria. Quality assurance is carried out by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain – from environmentally friendly textile production, textile finishing and transport. In addition, there are regular employee training courses in relation to recycling and waste prevention, social criteria, occupational safety and resource-saving handling of materials and resources. Textilmacher have already reached a milestone with this certification, but we would like to continue working to minimize the environmental impact of their company.
